you see, the thing about heroes:
❝I believe in Christianity as I believe that the sun has risen:not only because I see it, but because by it I see everything else.❞ -C.S. Lewis I roll with a camera around my neck, a moleskine under my arm and rolls on film in my hand. Never in the picture because I'm the one behind the lens. Sleeping is a pleasure and bokeh is an art. It is a pleasure to learn but a passion to teach. Amy Poehler and Tina Fey are my heroes. Trust me, I'm very passive. Touch my Beatles records and die. And most of all, I hate doing this self bio things - especially when you need to fill an empty space. i am everyday people |

❝Jesus would have been one of the best photographers that ever existed. He was always looking at the beauty of people souls. In fact Jesus was constantly making pictures of God in people's life by looking at their souls and exposing them to his light.❞ -Francis Bacon ![]() click

![]() oh hey, look at that! This is the first post that has a picture I haven't shot before :o --- I'm currently reminiscing about the "Dead Poet's Society" movie way back when. Awesome film - Robert Sean Leonard, Ethan Hawke & Robin William. This is one of the best scenes (about Literature) ever: John Keating: Close your eyes, close your eyes! Close 'em! Now, describe what you see. Todd Anderson: Uh, I-I close my eyes. John Keating: Yes. Todd Anderson: Uh, and this image floats beside me. John Keating: A sweaty-toothed madman. Todd Anderson: A sweaty-toothed madman with a stare that pounds my brain. John Keating: Oh, that's *excellent*! Now, give him action - make him do something! Todd Anderson: H-His hands reach out and choke me. John Keating: That's it! Wonderful, wonderful! Todd Anderson: And all the time he's mumbling. John Keating: What's he mumbling? Todd Anderson: Mumbling truth. John Keating: Yeah, yes. Todd Anderson: Truth like-like a blanket that always leaves your feet cold. John Keating: [some of the class start to laugh] Forget them, forget them! Stay with the blanket. Tell me about that blanket! Todd Anderson: Y-Y-You push it, stretch it, it'll never be enough. You kick at it, beat it, it'll never cover any of us. From the moment we enter crying t-to the moment we leave dying, it'll just cover your face as you wail and cry and scream. [long pause then class applauds] John Keating: Don't you forget this. o captain, my captian ✌&♥ |
